Groom’s guide for a perfect top to toe look
Summer is not only the season when everyone takes a break from their everyday routine, but also the season when everyone gets married. And no wonder why: The happiest period of the year for the happiest moment of a couple’s life. It is beyond a shadow of a doubt that the bride wants to look gorgeous at her most special day, therefore she will have made meticulous preparations so as to look at her best. A dazzling wedding dress, bridal make-up, the perfect pair of shoes, a classic and impeccable manicure and the best hairdresser to make her hair look stunning. The bride has raised the standards and the groom needs to be perfect as well, even if normally he would not give a crap about his appearance. This might look like a hazard task for the groom but it actually isn’t as tough as it might seem. Here you can find a guide with a top to toe look for the special day.
Top suits
There is no better option for a summer wedding than the blue suit. You can choose among dark blue, royal blue or midnight blue as it is a color that is formal but at the same time not completely dark and perfectly suits the season. You should opt for wool blends or if you wish to stand out and literally shine go for silk blends. A three-piece-suit is definitely a trend especially for young grooms, plus it gives you the choice to stay classy if you want to remove your jacket at the wedding party. If you are a person who wants to be in fashion, then you could try a slim fit suit. However, the important thing is that it fits your figure and of course to feel comfortable in it. You could check the Dolce & Gabbana blue Martini wool silk three-piece-suit or the D&G blue silk three-piece Martini slim suit.
Another great option especially for spring and summer weddings is the gray suit. If the wedding is extremely formal, then try a tuxedo suit. The D&G gray black tuxedo gold slim fit smoking suit is an excellent and elegant choice for all of you who have raised the standards high, as far as your style is concerned. If you wish to dare something different then why not choosing a D&G gray polka dotted slim fit three-piece-suit? Or if this is too much for you, then check our D&G gray stripped two button three-piece suit.
If you are the all-time-classic type of man, then you should wear a black suit at your wedding day. I would say that black would be even better for winter weddings, but it is such a classic color that there is hardly any distinction of the season that can be worn. A really elegant choice is the Dolce & Gabbana black Martini slim fit smoking tuxedo suit.
If none of these color options is your cup of tea, then you could also consider the brown wool suit or for the bold ones try the D&G three piece sicilia suit and amaze the attendants and your beloved bride.

The right pair of shoes
While you can be creative with your suit, when it comes to shoes I would suggest that you narrow down your options to leather and lace up black or brown shoes. I would recommend the leather brown shoes for the blue suit and the black leather shoes if you choose any other color. And of course do not forget to polish them before the big day.

Belt or no belt?
If you have managed to find the perfect suit with the perfect fit on you, then no need for a belt as it interrupts the perfect image of the matchy matchy jacket and trousers you are trying to project. If, however, for any reason you want to put on a belt, then I would highly suggest that you choose a leather black belt or leather brown belt at the same color of your shoes so as to create an harmonic look.

Which tie?
While you can experiment with a lot of color options with your tie, as long as they remain formal, I have tried to gather here the ones I think are the most appropriate for this special occasion. The black tie is a safe option especially if you combine it with a black suit. But, I would also suggest the blue silk tie, because when it comes to weddings blue is the new black. An outstanding and really elegant choice would be the ivory white tie, especially for the most fashion conscious grooms. For those of you however who feel that a tie is just not enough then go for a really sick silk bowtie.
